Westport, Mayo has made it on to the long-list in The Irish Times competition The Best Place to Live in Ireland. It will join 24 other places in the race to become Ireland’s nicest neck-of-the-woods.
Every county in the country was represented in the competition, with 563 entries submitted in total. The winning place will be named The Best Place to Live in Ireland on Monday, 25th June in The Irish Times. They will then be featured in full in the newspaper, with photos, interviews and the original entry.
