Junior and Leaving Cert students in the parish are wished continued success with their on-going exams. Mass was celebrated last week for all the students. Sympathies are extended to the families of Mary Bourke, Kilbree, Myles Burke Knockbrack and John Sadler (brother of Liam Sadler ).
The Islandeady Foroiga Club members held their end of season celebrations in Fahy Community Centre recently. The members and club leaders enjoyed this event and wish to thank the Fahy Club for the kind invitation. As the year draws to a close, the officers and members wish to thank most sincerely their dedicated leaders who worked tirelessly with them throughout the year and look forward to resuming again in the autumn. They would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone an enjoyable and safe summer.
