Aer Lingus Regional has announced it is to open a new route from Ireland West Airport Knock to Birmingham.
From June 11 2012, operated by Aer Arann, it will provide daily flights from Knock to Birmingham with fares starting from €29.99 one way including taxes.
Joe Gilmore, managing director, Ireland West Airport Knock, said: “We are pleased to welcome Aer Lingus Regional to the airport on the Birmingham service. Our Birmingham service has long been one of our most established routes from the airport and I am sure the uninterrupted continuation of the service will come as welcome news to the thousands of UK visitors who use this service regularly as well as the Irish people travelling to the Birmingham region for business and leisure purposes. Furthermore we are delighted to be adding a new carrier, Aer Lingus Regional, to our airline network and we wish them every success on the new service.”
