Des Keogh, one of Ireland’s foremost actors and entertainers, presents his hugely successful, award-winning show The Love Hungry Farmer at the Linenhall Arts Centre in Castlebar on Wednesday, June 13 at 8pm.
Adapted and performed by Des Keogh from John B Keane’s Letters of a Love-Hungry Farmer, this acclaimed one-man show tells the story of John Bosco McLane, a bachelor of ‘indeterminate’ age and according to his own assessment, ‘past his best’ and still inexperienced in the ways of love.
