A sponsored fun dog walk will be held on Saturday May 26 at 3 pm, leaving from the Square in Balla. Stalls will be available and pet items for sale, plus advice regarding training your pet. Everyone is welcome and all proceeds go to Mayo SPCA to help pay veterinary fees.
Meg is a small spaniel cross, she has been spayed, vaccinated, worm/flea treated and is in great condition. She has a lovely temperament, is good with other dogs, very easy to walk and be with, and would make a great companion dog for a family, couple, or person living alone. She has a lot of love, loyalty, and affection to give.
Bobby is a young setter cross who has been neutered, vaccinated, flea/worm treated and is in excellent health. Bobby is a dog full of the joys of life, lovable, affectionate, friendly, good with other dogs and children, energetic, and loves playing. He would make an ideal family pet, is house trained, but needs a secure garden area for times when he is outdoors alone.
An understanding home is needed for Beau, a young mixed breed labrador who was rescued weighing only 12kg and very afraid of everything and everyone. Today he has gained weight and confidence, and is a happy dog, good with other dogs, and very good natured and affectionate. He will need an owner who is prepared to give a little time to bond with him and in return Beau will prove himself to be a loyal, faithful, pet. He is very obedient and would not mind too much living outdoors in a clean, dry, shed in a secure garden area. Beau walks well on a lead, has been neutered, and is vaccinated, worm/flea treated.
