Lavelle Bourke Solicitors of Achill Sound have recently opened a new office in Newport, offering expertise and advice across the legal spectrum.
The Lavelle Bourke practice, which was established in 1962, is headed up by principal Gareth Bourke. A native of Castlebar, where his father ran a long-established veterinary practice for many years, Gareth is the son of Geoffrey and Mary Bourke.
Gareth holds B Corp Law (hons ) and LLB (hons ) degrees from NUI Galway and was admitted as a solicitor in 2001. Developing a wide breadth of experience during the course of his career to date, he is an expert in areas such as property law and wills and estates as well as working with personal injury and family law clients. He is a member of the Conveyancing Committee of the Law Society of Ireland since 2008.
Having practised in Dublin for a number of years, Gareth Bourke returned to Mayo in 2005 to become principal of the long-established John NM Lavelle Solicitors. Renaming the practice to Lavelle Bourke, Gareth has successfully expanded the practice since 2005 — the Newport office opening is a further stage in its growth.
At the Newport office, Gareth Bourke will provide the same general practice services as in the Achill Sound office.
