Ardal O'Hanlon is of course best known for playing wide-eyed Father Dougal McGuire on Channel 4's Father Ted where he embodied the role of Dougal perfectly with his endearingly daft lines and dim facial expressions that few actors can rival.
However despite Dougal being by far his biggest role to date, if you really want to enjoy the talents of O’Hanlon, you have to see him live on stage. He will be taking to the stage in a intimate performance on Friday, June 1, in the Ruby Room at the TF Royal Theatre.
O'Hanlon has worked constantly since Fr Ted went off the air in 1998. As well as making numerous TV appearances, he has gigged solidly around the world, mainly in the UK and Ireland, and has performed televised gigs for Live In The Apollo and Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow.
Tickets for his performance at the Royal Theatre are on sale now at €22.65 and are available from the Royal Box Office on 0818 300 000 or 094 9023111. Also available from royaltheatre.ie or ticketmaster.ie
