Sail boats abound on Clew Bay on Thursday evenings. Last week nearly 20 boats raced with three distinct classes divided according to the size and age of the boats.
In the IRC race John and Gair Gordon in X-rated were the winners, second place went to Ian and Anne Gaughan aboard Xeana, while Aengus and Fiona Burke finished in third place aboard Uphoria.
In the Echo race it was once again victory for X-rated and the Gordons, and second and third placings were reversed from the IRC race, with Uphoria coming home second and Xeana third.
In the class three fleet, Rory Casey in As Lathair came home in first place, with Michael Murphy in Rub-a-Dub-Dub finishing second and John Wallace in Katie in third.
