The annual general meeting of Mayo Fianna Fail Dail Ceantair will be held at the Welcome Inn Hotel, Castlebar, on Monday May 28 at 8.30 pm.
Outgoing chairman Sean Staunton has asked for a full attendance at this meeting, stressing that all party members, in addition to nominated delegates, are invited to attend.
The meeting will be addressed by Dara Calleary TD, who has endorsed the call for ordinary members to attend and to contribute to the meeting.
Deputy Calleary said that it was important that there be a full attendance, especially in light of the ongoing renewal which was now underway within the party.
“There are very positive developments taking place within Fianna Fail at the moment and there is a renewed sense of commitment to the party among members throughout the county,” said Deputy Calleary. “I would encourage as many members as possible to attend this important meeting and to help progress the renewal process.”
