Trinity Orchestra to perform Pink Floyd’s music

Trinity Orchestra are to perform in the Royal Theatre, Castlebar, on Saturday July 7, where they will play the music of Pink Floyd’s Dark Side Of The Moon.

Trinity Orchestra is an entirely student-run society that brings together some of the most talented young musicians in Ireland, all of whom are currently students or staff in Trinity College Dublin.

Following celebrated Main Stage appearances at last year’s Forbidden Fruit and Electric Picnic Festivals, Trinity Orchestra’s introduction of Pink Floyd’s 70s progressive rock album The Dark Side of the Moon incorporating a full orchestra, singers and band has been widely praised.

This very special orchestral performance takes to the stage at the Royal Theatre on Saturday July 7. Tickets will be on sale soon from the Royal Box Office on 0818 300 000 or 094 902 3111. Further information is available from www.TheRoyal.ie
