Emily Logan, Ireland’s Ombudsman for Children, will be the special guest of honour at the Mayo Children’s Initiative (MCI ) information Open Day on Friday April 27 next, at MCI’s offices at 15-20 Sean Bhaile, Castle Street, Castlebar, starting at 11am.
Mayo Children’s Initiative is dedicated to addressing the specific needs of children and young people living with domestic violence.
The Open Day will also see the first screening of a YouTube video about teenage relationships that may not be healthy, which was created, scripted, directed and produced by young people themselves with the support of MCI.
All are welcome to attend the Open Day.
