This weekend, Brennan’s Lane, Ballina plays host to two of Ireland’s premier bands—Hot Fuss and Gorilla Radio.
Tonight, Friday 13, from 10pm let Hot Fuss take you through the ‘80s, ‘90s, noughties and current charts with their lively set that promises to be hugely entertaining.
Hot Fuss cover modern songs from Train, Mumford and Sons, Kings of Leon, MGMT and Black Eyed Peas to classics such as Oasis, Men at Work and Bob Marley. The band have also recorded their own original music.
Hot Fuss promise to deliver a compacted fusion of modern music that is both energetic and happy but at the same time caters for a varied audience.
Band members are Mark O’Reilly on guitar and vocals, Jonathan Fallon on lead guitar and vocals, Paul Casey on bass guitar and vocals and Brian Whelan on drums and vocals.
On Sunday April 15 Gorilla Radio will perform an acoustic session from 8pm.
Gorilla Radio are a four piece rock band from Mayo/Roscommon and Wexford. Members are Noel Kenny, Paul Newell (Ballina ), Seanie Walsh (Ballina ), and Joey Kennedy. They have been together for over two years now and have already built up a huge following all over the country and are regarded as one of the best cover bands in the country.
