An ambulance paramedic in Castlebar, Gordon Nimmo and his wife Mags, an oncology nurse at Mayo General Hospital, have launched a fundraising campaign to raise funds for children’s hospitals in Mayo and Dublin. This came about as their third child and first son, Kyle became seriously unwell just after birth and had to undergo treatments.
A website, www.kyle4kids.com, was therefore set up by the couple in order to raise money to make a difference in the lives of sick children. Any group or individual considering doing any fundraising to support kyle4kids is asked to check the website and get in contact.
