Local heart and stroke charity Croí, has just announced details of an exciting new challenge as part of its fundraising portfolio of events for 2012.
This new charity challenge will take place in Croatia from August 4 to 10 and takes the form of a swim trek in the clear blue waters of the Adriatic. Swimmers will swim on the Dalmatian Coast, swimming from island to island on a daily basis under the supervision of expert English Channel swim coaches who will be on hand to offer advice on technique and style.
The Croí Swim Trek Team will be based on the Island of Prvic, which lies in the geographic centre of the Dalmatian coast. This six night (seven day ) island hopping open water adventure will involve swimming a daily average of approximately 4km.
