BreastCheck encouraging women to visit Ballina unit

BreastCheck, the national breast screening programme, is encouraging women aged 50 to 64 to avail of their invitation to attend for their free breast mammogram in the BreastCheck mobile digital screening unit located in the grounds of the Cathedral Car Park, Ballina.

BreastCheck is inviting women aged 50 to 64 from Belmullet and Ballina including Ballycastle, Ballyycroy, Bangor, Belmullet, Crossmolina, Glenamoy, Killala, Lacken, Aghamore, Attymass, Kilkelly, Kiltimagh, Mellick, Straide and Swinford and surrounding areas to avail of a free mammogram. If the appointment time or date does not suit, a woman can easily change it by calling BreastCheck on (091 ) 580600.

BreastCheck encourages all women aged 50 to 64 living in Mayo to check that they are on the BreastCheck register by calling Freephone 1800 454555 or checking online at www.breastcheck.ie Once registered and known to the programme they will automatically receive an appointment when BreastCheck is screening in their area.
