Castlebar students bid for €7,000 prize to bring agri-products to market

More than 60 young innovators from around the country will descend on Croke Park for the national final of Agri Aware’s Green Dragon Secondary Schools Innovation Challenge on Wednesday next, March 28. An open event, the public will have the fantastic opportunity to view a range of innovative ideas for new products and services in the agriculture, food, environment, and health and safety industries.

Attending the event will be students from St Gerald’s College and St Joseph’s Secondary School, Castlebar, who will pitch their health and safety and environmental ideas to a professional panel of judges in a bid to secure the top prize of a €7,000 product development and mentoring fund to help bring their product to market.
