Ballina native looking to become the Voice of Ireland

Liam Geddes, 21 and a native of Ballina, is one of the favourites to win the new TV show, The Voice of Ireland.

Liam is the only representative from the west of Ireland. He competed in Eurosong in 2008 and was the youngest competitor at that time, indeed Louis Walsh, who was a judge on Eurosong 2008, said Liam was the best new singer in Ireland. He has always dreamt of being a singer and this is his big chance because the winner picks up a massive recording deal with Universal Music. His mentor is Kian Egan. Liam will be on again on this Sunday March 25 and if he gets through, again on Sunday April 8.
