Network Mayo is keen to see representatives of all types of business in Mayo at its March meeting which will feature Norma Smurfit, chairperson of First-Step Microfinance, as guest speaker. She will be speaking on First Step - Business Finance – a vital area for everyone in business, especially in modern times.
First-Step Microfinance is a not-for-profit organisation which financially assists job creation through enterprise. Funding is targeted at people who want to start a small business and entrepreneurs who have difficulty securing finance from traditional banking sources.
Members and guests, male and female, are welcome to this meeting which takes place in Knockranny House Hotel, Westport on Tuesday, March 27 at 7.30pm. Network Ireland is the organisation for women in business, the professions, and the arts. The Mayo branch provides training and support through monthly meetings, training opportunities and annual conferences, all with an emphasis on networking. Guests and new members are welcome.
