Fine Gael TD for Mayo, Michelle Mulherin, has welcomed the news that all local authority offices in Mayo are accepting cash from those paying the new Household Charge.
Earlier Deputy Mulherin had raised the matter with Mayo County Council after people trying to pay with cash were turned away from a number of council offices.
