Home from Home is owned by Miss Connie Cannon and operates under the Western Health Board regulations and safety guidelines. It offers a daily routine of assorted activities depending on the needs and wants of all children and caters for the individual child, encouraging their developmental stages in the activities they like to carry out.
The facility has just qualified for ECCE scheme which means free pre-school year for children before they start primary school.
A Pre school Open Day will be held next Monday March 12, 9:30 - 12:30. A Mayo County Childcare Development Worker will be available to answer any questions or queries.
The motto at Home from Home is “A Messy child is a Happy child” and this is vident in all children younger and older during the ‘Messy play’ activities including arts and crafts, water and sand play, indoor and out and cooking.

Home from Home opening hours are 8.30 - 6.30 and caters for all ages - crèche, playschool, after school, summer camp, overnight and weekend stay.
