Ballina will hold its St Patrick’s Day parade on Sunday March 18 starting at 4.30pm from Convent Hill and proceeding through the main streets in Ballina.
A community parade with more than 35 floats and four bands and more is expected, with big entries promised from Hollister and Ballina Beverages. Gnó Mhaigheo have two prizes up for grabs this year. An Flóta is Fearr – Best Irish themed float as Gaeilge, and Fuinneog Phàdraig – best Irish themed window as Gaeilge.
Ballina businesses will be trading as usual on Saturday March 17.
