The Gardaí in Swinford have received a report of a flasher operating in the area.
On Wednesday night at 9.50pm a teenage girl was startled when a man attempted to exposed himself to her on Swinford’s Main Street.
The man had asked the girl for directions to the GAA pitch when she walked over towards his car. She saw him pull down his trousers but he didn’t expose himself.
The witness ran away and contacted the gardaí.
The man was described as being in his late 20s, early 30s, wearing a Mayo football hoodie. He had blonde hair and wore glasses. He was driving a dark coloured blue/black estate car with a roof rack.
