Mayo Cancer Support will be attempting to set a new world record for the world’s highest chain of bras on Saturday November 22 at Croagh Patrick, Murrisk.
The day will start with an ecumenical service in the Croagh Patrick car park at 9am followed by linking the bra-chain up to the top of the mountain. As many volunteers as possible to assist on the day for this worthy cancer charity and to raise awareness for breast cancer are asked to come along or call 094 903 8407.
The world record attempt will be followed by an evening of celebratory entertainment organised by Mayo Cancer Support at the Atlantic Coast Hotel, the Quay, Westport. The band Legacy will commence at 8pm and entrance is €10, which will include finger food. All proceeds will go to the cancer charity.
The following day, Westport House will be open and all admission fees will be donated to the cancer charity.
