Le Chéile FRC in conjunction with the Marie Keating Foundation is hosting an awareness/information sharing morning to help “make cancer less frightening by enlightening”, on Wednesday February 8 from 10.30am to 2.30pm.
The Marie Keating Foundation mobile unit and nurse will be at the Le Chéile centre, Tucker Street, Castlebar. A representative from the Marie Keating Foundation will give a talk on the importance of healthy lifestyles choices for men and women, as well as early detection as a key preventative measure.
People are invited to visit the mobile unit which will be outside the FRC. There will also be other events on the day such as Colour Me Beautiful. A light lunch and refreshments will be served. For further information contact 094 902 5126.
