Sesame Street presents Elmo Makes Music at the Royal Theatre

Mark your calendar for a musical event like no other — monsters making music. Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Big Bird, Bert, Ernie and all their Sesame Street friends are taking to the stage to share their love of music in Sesame Street Live - Elmo Makes Music at the Royal Theatre on Easter Monday, April 9, for two shows one at 2pm and another at 4.30pm.

Abby Cadabby loves to sing and wants to start a new band on Sesame Street. Join the fun as Abby, Elmo, and friends discover ‘instruments’ they never knew existed… pots and spoons, Big Bird “tweets”, Oscar the Grouch’s stomping trash can lids, Cookie Monster’s crumbling cookie jars and more become instruments of beautiful music and noisy fun. Everyone’s favourite fun, furry and feathered friends teach children that we can make and enjoy beautiful music together.

The universal appeal of a Sesame Street Live production continues long after pre-school. Adults will appreciate the high-tech stagecraft, cleverly written scripts, and music they’ll recognise and enjoy sharing with children, such as ‘The Hustle’, ‘You Should Be Dancing’, and ‘Rockin’ Robin’. Elmo Makes Music features nearly two dozen songs, including classics that children will love to sing along with such as ‘C Is for Cookie’ and ‘The Alphabet Song’.

Tickets cost €17.50 each or family ticket for four costs €50 and are available from the Royal Box Office on 0818 300 000 or 094 9023111 or online from www.royaltheatre.ie or ticketmaster.ie
