Lely Welger RP 245
The new Lely Welger RP sets a new standard for round balers with a fixed chamber. Obviously, all crucial features of the Lely Welger balers have been maintained such as the Hydroflex control feeding channel floor and the mechanical tail gate locking system. The excellent performance of these round balers constitutes the basis for the new RP 245 range.
This new range of round balers includes a standard RP 245 model with an option of two different cutting devices: Mastercut 13 and Xtracut 17. The knives of the Xtracut 17 system have been divided into two groups, which can be controlled from the tractor cab. As standard, the Profi model comes with the Xtracut 25 cutting device, but in addition the machine has more comprehensive features making it especially suited to silage operations under the heaviest of conditions.
Along with the RP 245 model, the Xtracut 17 model has already acquired an excellent reputation for baling large volumes of silage. Thanks to the heavy bearings this round baler is totally poised to operate in the heaviest of conditions. Obviously, the new looks of this round baler do not only contribute towards the machine's overall look. Special attention has been bestowed on functionality and a solution has been worked out to reduce the build-up of dust behind the hoods, which is inextricably linked with round baling.
