The Mayo AC Fit4Life groups in association with Mayo Sports Partnership, resumes this week after the festive break. The increasingly popular weekly sessions which cater for all fitness levels from beginners upwards, are an ideal opportunity for people of all ages to improve their health and wellbeing. They take place in a safe sociable environment and at low cost and are open to people over 18, with no upper age limit. All centres have trained team leaders in attendance catering for those who wish to walk, jog, or run or who want to progress from one of those levels to another.
The groups take place in Ballyhaunis on Tuesday evenings at the multi use games area beside Friary Field, at 6pm for walkers and 7pm for runners. On Thursday evenings it takes place in Ballinrobe at 7.45pm, and at 10am on Sundays at the Green, Ballinrobe. Claremorris AC track is the venue on Thursday evenings also at 7.30pm for another group, while for the Castlebar area, Breaffy GAA Club hosts a group at 7pm on Mondays.
