More than 10,000 people in Ireland acquire a brain injury during an accident, blow to the head, a stroke, or an aneurism annually. A Brain Injury Peer Support Group meets in Castlebar every third Monday in each month.
The next meeting will take place on Monday January 16 from 7.30pm to 9pm in the Le Chéile Family Resource Centre, Tucker Street.
