Castlebar Ladies Golf
The Wednesday July 16, 18 hole stableford sponsored by Castlebar Florists. First place was taken by Geraldine O'Malley 37 pts; second was Mary McKeon with 36pts; and third was Leah Kerr with 35pts (back nine ). Anna Fadden's 18 hole stableford was won by Suzanna Kenny .Please arrange to complete Lavelle Cup matches and Rocky's Plate matches as soon as possible
Ballyhaunis Golf Club
The stableford compeition last weekend was won by Tom Marren with a score of 41pts off 15, Kevin Henry took the silver medal position with a score of 40pts off 7, while Shay Walsh came third with a score of 40pt also off 15. Nuala Fitzgerald took the womens section with a score of 37pts off 29, with Margaret Dyer taking second place with a score of 35pts off 27, while Roisin Hill took third place with a score of 34pts. Paul Finnegan was top of the charts with a score of 34pts off 24 in the junior section.
Mulranny ladies golf results
Barbara Daly continued her run of excellent golf by winning the 18 holes stableford on Sunday, sponsored by Western Beverages, with a score of 40 pts on the back nine from Maureen O'Hara. In third place with 36pts was Bridie Moran. Next Saturday the attention will be focused on Maureen Noone's Ladies Captain's Day. Best wishes are extended to Maureen for a great day and we hope the sun shines for her in beautiful Mulranny. The draw takes place on Thursday evening, so all ladies need their names entered by Thursday. A nine holes competition for men will commence at 3.30pm.
