The Royal Theatre is really out to treat you this Christmas, hosting a magical array of Concerts, shows and New Year fun, beginning with The Coronas on St Stephen’s Night, supported by two fantastic up and coming rock bands, 21 Outs from Ballina, and The Kanyu Tree from Galway.
On Tuesday December 27, The Glee Experience stages a matinee show in the main hall. A bunch of Gleeksters perform all your favourite hits - a great family day out over the festive season. Later, legendary Irish musicians Sharon Shannon, Dessie O’Halloran and local band Na Ciotogai are joined on stage by the ever-talented Jack L.
On Wednesday December 28, one of Ireland’s most distinguished voices, Bryan Kennedy, will play the more intimate Ruby Room while in the main theatre, the wonderful Brendan Grace will be treating fans to a few laughs and he will be available after the show for a photo and a 'meet and greet'.
On Thursday December 29, The Saw Doctors will be joined by Ryan Sheridan and Joe Fury and the Hayride for an incredible night of live music, a triple bill of brilliant Irish bands at only €20.
On Friday December 30, The Furey Brothers & Davey Arthur will entertain in the Ruby Room, while Trevor Smyth and his eight piece band return by popular demand to the main stage to give you the Ultimate Garth Brooks Experience
New Years Eve, Ireland’s beloved rockabilly princess Imelda May arrives in Castlebar to perform songs from her number one albums Love Tattoo and Mayhem and some classic Christmas tunes. Joined by Joe Fury and the Hayride Imelda, one of the best Irish acts at the moment, will ring in the New Year in true Irish fashion.
