The Saw Doctors to rock the Royal Theatre

To help shake off some of those Christmas Day calories, the Saw Doctors will be rocking on stage at the Royal Theatre on Thursday December 29. Renowned for their live performances, Royal Theatre fans are in for a treat as this is one of only a few Irish dates over the Christmas period.

A vast list of chart successes such as well known hits: “N17”, and a cover of Sugababes “About You Now”, have helped The Saw Doctors maintain their rightful place as one of the nations most-loved bands.

The band hailing from Tuam Co Galway, and currently made up of Leo Moran (vocals, guitar ), Davy Carton (vocals, guitar ), Kevin Duffy (keyboards ), Anthony Thistlethwaite (bass guitar, saxophone ) and Eímhín Cradock (drums and vocals ) , have this year teamed up with 1960s icon Petula Clark for a reworking of her hit “Downtown” This new single looks like it is in the running for the most coveted number 1 spot of the year, the Christmas number 1, so why not hear it live at the Royal on December 29.

The Saw Doctors Christmas gig at the Royal is always an incredible night out, and this year should be no different. They will be joined on stage by special guests Ryan Sheridan, and Joe Fury and The Hayride, so with a triple bill of three brilliant Irish bands, and a possible Christmas number 1, at a great value ticket price of only €20, it’s one not to be missed.

Tickets are expected to sell fast and are available from €20 on www.ticketmaster.ie as well as from The Royal Box Office on 0818 300000. For further information please check The Royal Theatre & Event Centre website on www.RoyalTheatre.ie
