The annual Christmas Food Appeal has been organised once more by Claremorris and District Lions Club and will be held in the Claremorris/Ballindine area during the second weekend in December. While Christmas is a joyous occasion for most, some families will still struggle. Let us all try to ensure that they have that little bit of help this Christmas.
Lions Club members will be collecting non-perishable food items at the following locations.
December Friday 9 in Tesco, Claremorris.
December Friday 9 and Saturday 10 in SuperValu, Claremorris.
Other collection points will be available at shops in the locality.
Previous appeals have made a real difference during the Christmas season so please remember; the success of this project relies on your generosity. The local community has shown exceptional support in years gone by and we hope to continue this with your help.
