Connacht Gold in Swinford has been awarded the title of Garden Retailer of the year.
The store, managed by Ger Ginnelly and open in Swinford since March 2011, includes a garden centre and has a staff of eight, including full- and part-time .
The award was assessed with the aid of a mystery shopper and a shop audit report, and the success of the store was attributed to the hard work, effort and teamwork of the staff.
