Claremorris people working up an appetite can now enjoy an added dining-out option with the grand opening of the Steak House in the Western Hotel which took place just last Friday.
Offering steaks in size anything from 6ox up to 16oz, the menu also includes a lot of fish, chicken, and Indian dishes.
Brothers John and Peter Duggan have been kept busy since opening the Steak House and Peter reports: ““Before John took it over it had an a la carte menu but we wanted to get it done up. We closed down the restaurant and just kept the carvery going up to now but we always wanted to give people the bigger option and sell at a cheaper price. We haven’t even had time to advertise but it is already going brilliantly. We’re also offering a four course meal deal with choice of three starters - choose from five mains, three desserts and tea and coffee, for €25.”
