Since opening its doors one week ago Balla Stoves has attracted a lot of passing traffic with customers and potential customers checking out what is in store. Offering a wide range of stoves - supplied and fitted - as well as building brick and stone fireplaces, with prices starting from €250, according to PJ at Balla Stores it’s attracting “a fair bit of interest”.
“People have been impressed with the prices, telling us we’re there or thereabouts and can beat most about us. The fact that we’ve opened in the heart of Balla town is helping with visibility. A lot of people just didn’t realise we were here and even if half come back that will keep things ticking over nicely. There’s a good passing trade and Balla is a fairly vibrant town so we’re hopeful for the future.”
