New national contact centre for Clúid residents in Mayo

Residents of Clúid housing projects in Mayo will shortly be able to avail of a single one-stop-shop contact centre for all queries relating to their housing. Clúid is a voluntary housing association, which develops and manages rented housing for people on low incomes and people with special needs.

In Mayo, Clúid manages projects in Claremorris, Castlebar, Foxford and Westport, as well as two housing developments in Ballina.  From January 2012 onwards, residents of these projects will be able to avail of Clúid’s new contact centre.

The centre will be the first of its kind in Ireland – the first ever centralised contact centre for social housing tenants – and will serve as a single point of contact for all Clúid residents, in Mayo and elsewhere.

Commenting on the opening of the national contact centre, Mick Concannon, Regional Director for Clúid West, said: “The contact centre will serve as a one-stop-shop for our residents in Mayo for all queries relating to housing, including queries about repair and maintenance, rent management and other housing issues. The centre will also serve prospective tenants, businesses, Clúid contractors, members of the public and our residents throughout Ireland.”

The contact centre – which will be located in Dublin – will be housed in the same premises as Clúid’s national office and Eastern regional office.  Further information about Clúid is available at: www.cluid.ie
