Ten pupils from St Angela's NS Castlebar will be among the guests at Dublin Castle today (Friday November 11 ) for the inauguration of President Michael D Higgins.
The girls, accompanied by two teachers, were selected by ballot from the students of fifth and sixth classes.
The invitation to St Angela's came at the personal request of the President elect, and St Angela's is one of a small number of schools to be honoured with an invitation.
