To celebrate the 21st anniversary of the opening of Castlebar Library a book entitled Mayo Libraries: Memories, Tales and Anecdotes, by Mary Gavin will be launched by Liamy McNally on November 14 at 8pm.
The book is a social history of library staff and public alike, telling the behind the scenes stories, memories, romance, retirement celebrations and many amusing anecdotes. Everyone is welcome. Wheelchair access. Free raffle ticket in every book. Refreshments served.
