The Mayor of Ballinrobe contest reaches its climax on Saturday night November 5 at 9pm in The Valkenburg.
The hotly-contested race has involved three of the major sporting clubs of the town, with each club putting forward a candidate – Paddy McTigue (Ballinrobe Town AFC ), Peter McHugh (Ballinrobe RFC ) and Adrian Flannery (Ballinrobe GAA Club ).
All three of the candidates hope to have raised enough money to be crowned Mayor of Ballinrobe, along with raising much-needed funds for their respective clubs.
