The Leenane/Maam Red Cross, a voluntary organisation of individuals, holds its annual fundraising Five Mile Walk/Run on Sunday November 20 in Leenane.
The walk/run is to raise further funds for the ambulance and also to fund much needed equipment. The race will also help fund a new housing station for the ambulance in Leenane.
The entry fee is €15 for an individual and €20 for a family. Registration is available on RunIreland.com Pick up your race number in the Community Centre, Leenane, from noon onwards. The race starts at 2pm.
