The Rendezvous Bar in Balla has lined up a number of new nights of entertainment to keep you occupied over the winter nights. On the first Friday of every month the Rendezvous will host a Texas Hold-em competition starting on November 4, it will be a €50 freeze out with a €14,000 starting stack. There will be an early bird chip-in, before 9.15pm and light refreshments will be served.
Tuesday night will be darts night, with a 25 card drive on Thursdays and The Rendezvous will host a monster pool competition over the Christmas holidays, and names are being taken at in the bar or by phoning 094 9365561.
The entertainment for this weekend is a Halloween party and the launch of Koyote Disco Bar with DJ Lisa Brady on Saturday night, and live band All Bang n' Strummit on Sunday from 10.30pm to close.
