The second of the Mayo semi-finals for the Special Olympics Our School's Got Talent, in association with Supermac’s, took place this week in the McWilliam Park Hotel, Claremorris, where 20 acts took to the stage, all hoping to clinch a place in this year's Mayo county final.
Eight of these acts have progressed further: three acts from Mount St Michael's Claremorris; one act from St Brendan's Belmullet; two from Ballyhaunis Community School; one from St Muredach’s College Ballina; and one from Ballinrobe Community School.
The last of the Mayo semi-finals takes place tomorrow (Saturday ) in Hotel Westport. The Our School’s Got Talent Mayo county final will take place on Friday November 11 in the Royal Theatre, Castlebar, with tickets available from local Supermac’s restaurants.
