It is hoped that classes in Irish will start up at the Charlestown community centre shortly. The classes will take place at 7.30pm and are for absolute beginners. For further information contact Noirin at 086 383 6078.
A new children’s book, The Adventures of Pete and Tweet, will be launched in Charlestown Library on Tuesday October 25 at 7.30pm.
The author of this book is retired primary school teacher Helena McDonagh from Charlestown.
