If you would like to practise your Irish and have a bit of craic at the same time, go to Inishturk on Saturday October 22.
The ferry costs €20 and departs from Roonagh pier at 11am. B&B plus dinner is €60.
There is lots to do on Inishturk, you can explore the island by following one of the marked walking trails and there will be an Oíche Cheoil on the Saturday.
Don’t worry if you don’t have much Irish, this weekend is geared towards those who have little Irish.
