Have you ever wondered why you can never achieve the right consistency in a sauce you have been trying to master? If so, then you may find the answers at a special cookery demonstration night in Ballina Leisure Centre on Thursday October 27. The renowned Bord Bia presenter Máire Dufficy will perform the demonstration on the night.
The event is kindly sponsored by Moran’s Craft Butcher and Delicatessen, Market Square, Ballina, and all proceeds raised will be shared equally between Mayo Roscommon Hospice and Rock Rose House.
Spectators will have the opportunity to sit back, relax, and watch Máire cook delicious, easy to prepare, meat dishes while giving great tips and advice on how you can achieve the best results by using local products. A food fair of local producers will also exhibit their fine quality foods.
Doors open at 7pm. The evening will commence with a cheese and wine reception. The cookery demonstration starts at 8pm sharp. There will be a raffle on the night with excellent prizes on offer.
