Three lucky Mayo winners and their guests will jet off to New York City this Friday on a trip of a lifetime thanks to the National Lottery’s Big Money Game Scratch Card and associated TV game show.
The lucky winners are Anne Curry from Cloonlee, Regina Livingstone from Killala and Mary Morrell from Ballina.
The trio won the trip plus €2,500 spending money on the TV game show during the summer months. They will be joined by another 36 winners and their guests, as well as special guests Brian Ormond, who hosted the game show for a week during the summer, and his wife Pippa O’Connor.
Once in New York, the group will be transported by coach to the luxurious Sofitel Hotel in Midtown Manhattan, just a short stroll from Times Square, the Empire State Building and Fifth Avenue.
On Saturday evening, the winners will enjoy a delicious four-course meal aboard the Princess yacht as they cruise along the Hudson River. The group will visit Broadway on Tuesday night, where they will enjoy the smash hit musical Jersey Boys at the August Wilson Theatre.
The winners will return to Dublin on Thursday October 6.
This comes in the same week that a lucky Belmullet family picked up last weekend’s €11 million lotto jackpot. Evelyn McIntyre from Ballyglass won the jackpot with a €4 quick-pick bought in Brogan’s Eurospar in Belmullet. The family are said to be shocked at the massive windfall.
