The roads of Mayo and Galway will see a big increase in the number of Mercs this weekend when the members and friends of the Mercedes-Benz Club will spend Saturday and Sunday (October 1 and 2 ) enjoying the hospitality and scenic roads of the region. The club will be based in Galway city on Saturday and Sunday nights.
On Saturday members plan to meet at the Museum of Country Life near Castlebar at 1pm for light lunch, followed by a guided tour of the museum. They will then depart at 3.30pm for a scenic drive to Galway. There will be a formal dinner and presentation of prizes and awards later that night.
Sunday will be spent visiting the historic, artistic, and cultural parts of Galway and short afternoon drive.
Sean McGreevy, MB Club regional officer for Connacht, told the Mayo Advertiser that he is looking forward to meeting everyone in Mayo and Galway and is encouraging other Mercedes-Benz Club members and friends to attend and help make this a memorable occasion.
