What did happen, The Night Joe Dolan’s Car Broke Down?

The Night Joe Dolan’s Car Broke Down is written and directed by Padraic McIntyre and is set in a rural pub in Cavan on a stormy St Stephen’s night as locals gather to celebrate the 60th birthday of The Horse Munley. As the storm worsens and people head home a knock on the door brings the night’s entertainment to a new level.

McIntyre’s play features a host of local characters with whom people will easily identify, each with his own story to tell. As the play unfolds so too does the music and craic. Featuring live music and the talented John O’Grady as Joe Dolan, this play is a treat for theatre and music lovers.
