A man was sent forward for trial to Castlebar Circuit Court sitting for criminal business on October 11 this year.
Garda Sinead Caheny gave evidence to the court of serving the book of evidence to Stephen Boyd on Tuesday September 13 in relation to the case. Boyd had been charged under the Misuse of Drugs act after he was arrested at Lord Edward Street, Ballina, on May 19 2011. Judge Mary Devins imposed a reporting ban on Boyd’s address after she was informed that threats to his life had been made.
