An Irish Heart Foundation nurse will be carrying out free heart health assessments on all men between 1pm and 5pm on Thursday September 29 at Áras Inis Gluaire. Refreshments will be provided. There will be free information available including ‘A man’s guide to a healthy heart.’ Also in September, the IMF will be working with Iorras FM to invite men to help it with the history of Erris. Beginning on Saturday 24, it will have a regular programme with music and chat about days gone by. It would love to hear from any men over 55 who would like to get involved in this.
